Overview
Our client is a multi discipline Engineering and Construction Company, executing major EPC projects in Oil & Gas and other sectors including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation works and is now looking for Head of Utilities & Services to be based in Muscat, Oman.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in engineering, mechanical or civil engineering preferred
- 15+ years of experience in managing operations positions in an international construction company, ideally including experience in management positions
- 8+ years of experience in construction projects related to utilities and services, including sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants, water supply networks, power stations & distribution networks, infrastructure of universities/hospitals or similar
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Omani construction industry in general and the respective business units field specifically (e.g., methods, materials, engineering methodologies, etc.)
- Excellent skills in contract management, client and consultant management
- Ability to work in a multicultural, cross-functional environment
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Job Summary:
Supervise and control operational progress of projects in company’s Utilities & Services unit including costs, quality and timing as well as customer satisfaction, manage key account relationships and provide expert advice to project managers. Directly report to COO.
