Overview
Our client is a multi discipline Engineering and Construction Company, executing major EPC projects in Oil & Gas and other sectors including Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation works and is now looking for Head of Vendor Management Cell to be based in Muscat, Oman.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in civil engineering
- Quality Management Certification is highly desirable
- 8+ years of experience in logistics and supply chain management with 5+ years in a leadership position
- Ability to work and manage in a multicultural environment
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Strong conflict management skills
Job Summary:
Being the key responsible for driving and coordinating Company’s Supplier Management activities, including but not limited to supply base management, supplier qualification and evaluation, supplier development and supplier controlling. Furthermore, leading the Supplier Management Cell staff in carrying out all tasks defined within the defined area of responsibility of the Supplier Management Cell.
