Facility Maintenance
Amaken is looking for a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our client’s team in Beirut, Lebanon. The successful candidate will support project execution from project award through material delivery to site. This role includes procurement coordination, supplier follow-up, shipment tracking, preparation of technical submittals, quantity take-offs, and internal project coordination to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotations after project award.
- Compare prices, technical compliance, and delivery timelines to support supplier selection.
- Prepare, issue, and track Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up on orders and shipments until materials are delivered to site.
- Liaise with logistics, freight, or customs teams as needed.
- Prepare and organize technical submittals in collaboration with suppliers and engineering teams.
- Ensure submittals comply with project specifications and client requirements.
- Maintain updated procurement, submittal, and delivery logs.
- Perform material quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Use AutoCAD for drawing review, quantity extraction, or simple layouts.
- Coordinate internally with Project Managers and project teams.
- Provide regular updates on procurement, deliveries, and submittals to management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in project coordination, procurement, construction, ELV, or MEP projects is preferred.
- Basic to intermediate AutoCAD skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and material specifications.
- Excellent coordination, follow-up, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
