Amaken is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a leading Food & Restaurant Group in Libreville, Gabon. The role will oversee the end-to-end supply chain, including procurement, imports, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and distribution across multiple brands and branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead local and international procurement and supplier negotiations.
- Develop purchasing, replenishment, and supply plans.
- Manage imports, shipping, customs clearance, and transportation.
- Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and availability.
- Coordinate product distribution across restaurants and branches.
- Monitor supply chain costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, storage, and documentation standards.
- Track KPIs, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and develop procurement, warehouse, inventory, and logistics teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Business, or Operations Management.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in local procurement and international imports.
- Experience in F&B, hospitality, restaurants, retail, FMCG, or food distribution is strongly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, planning, analytical, and cost-control skills.
- Experience managing supply chain, warehouse, procurement, or logistics teams.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/procurement/inventory systems.
- Fluent in both French and English – mandatory.
- Strong ability to manage multiple suppliers, branches, priorities, and operational requirements.
