Overview
Amaken is hiring a Mechanical Line Technician for a Huge Manufacturing Group in Luanda, Angola.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform setup, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and equipment, including conveyors, fillers, cappers, and labelers.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment malfunctions.
- Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document equipment maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new production equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Line Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in glass jar production.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
- Familiarity with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other automated control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed.
