Overview

Amaken is hiring a Mechanical Line Technician for a Huge Manufacturing Group in Luanda, Angola.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform setup, maintenance, and repair of production machinery and equipment, including conveyors, fillers, cappers, and labelers.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment malfunctions.
Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Document equipment maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new production equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Line Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in glass jar production.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and equipment.
Familiarity with PLCs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and other automated control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to work rotating shifts and weekends as needed.
